CP/M 3.0, Also known as CP/M-PLUS CP/M 3 was a considerable 
upgrade to CP/M 2.2, which had become the industry standard 
operating system for 8080/Z80 computers. It supported multiple 
banks of memory, allowing most of the operating system itself to 
be moved out of the way of the application program. 

Many of the features we take for granted on our modern computers 
today, can be found supported in the CP/M 3.0 system, such as : 
TSRs, CP/M 3 called them RSX's, or resident system extensions, 
start-up batch files, time/date stamping for files, and much more.
